Developers announce a massive land acquisition in the heart of the city, promising to revolutionize the area with a state-of-the-art mixed-use development. This strategic purchase aims to enhance community living and boost local economic growth through the introduction of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces.
The development company has acquired 600 acres of land north of Fort Worth, a key component of its broader strategy to enhance logistics, manufacturing, and aviation operations near the airport.
This acquisition, which spans Tarrant and Denton counties, is considered one of the most impactful land purchases in its history, according to Tony Creme, Senior Vice President.
The company plans to use the newly acquired land to attract additional manufacturing and logistics companies to the area. Additionally, this land will be integrated into the innovation zone, further advancing its commitment to innovative transportation solutions.
Earlier this month, plans were unveiled to develop the innovation zone, a dedicated transportation hub designed to streamline shipping operations for various companies and manufacturers.
This strategically positioned zone will leverage the proximity to the airport, the intermodal facility, and other key infrastructure, making it an optimal location for high-volume goods transportation.
Creme noted in a statement, ‘With the ongoing expansion of the airport and the intermodal facility bolstering the commercial growth, this new property in westport will play a vital role in connecting these critical logistics centers and delivering unmatched connectivity to our clients.’
